Tier I (In-Person) Infrared (IR) Technician 1-Day Course

Tier 1 of 3 in the journey to a robust IR program for your company. Tier 1 focuses on the technician in the field and teaches them to become an expert with their IR camera. In this course, they will learn all of the crucial settings on their FLIR, FLUKE or Testo camera, learn how focus affects temperature accuracy, learn how to adjust camera settings to achieve clearer images and understand precisely how distance, ambient air temperature, relative humidity and more affect their temperature readings. Technician training is verified by a comprehensive practical & written exam at the end of the 1-day training, which produces highly skilled field thermographers. Once Tier 1 has been successfully completed, you are well equipped to move on to Tier 2 Infrared (IR) Report Writer & Analyst, where your technician learns the computer software which allows them to create, modify and distribute robust IR written reports - a must for any successful IR program.

Once Tier 2 has been completed, you are well equipped to move on to Tier 3 Infrared (IR) Program Administrator, where your analyst learns the ins and outs of building a successful and money-saving IR program.
